About the Project
Tees Vision Media captured the magic of the Harry Potter themed family day at Captain Cook Square with a high-energy event highlight video and portrait photography bank.
Filmed solo over a continuous six hours on site, the footage showcases key interactive moments, including a magician performing an illusion show, an owl flying to a child, and families meeting a wizard and goblin. It highlights the bustling retail atmosphere, potion-making craft workshops, and children dressed in witch costumes celebrating the day.
This fast-turnaround video and the complete marketing media pack collected are perfect for shopping centre promotion, venue footfall documentation, and social media marketing to audiences across the region.
What We Delivered
One 60-second high-energy event highlight video, filmed in native 4K and optimized for multi-platform social media marketing.
Full on-site media coverage across a continuous 6-hour public event footprint at Captain Cook Square.
How We Did It
Filming high-density public attraction events requires a massive focus on speed and agility. You are dealing with rapidly moving crowds, excited children, and unpredictable outdoor lighting conditions that you cannot fully control. We deployed a lightweight, stabilized 4K production kit that allowed us to move seamlessly through busy retail spaces without disrupting the event flow or blocking customer pathways.
The primary goal of the brief was to deliver a diverse, multi-format media library that the marketing team could use instantly. By capturing fast-paced video clips and high-resolution marketing photographs side-by-side during the 6-hour session, we provided a complete content asset package. The resulting assets perfectly communicate the scale, high footfall, and vibrant atmosphere of the day acting as a powerful promotional tool for future seasonal shopping centre events.

Planning a public attraction, retail, or seasonal event?
If your venue or organisation needs to showcase its vibrant footfall, promote an upcoming seasonal attraction, or build digital momentum that brings real people through the door, high-utility media is the most direct way to do it. We work with commercial retail spaces, shopping centre management, local councils, and public venues across Teesside, County Durham, Hartlepool, and the wider North East. Based in Stockton-on-Tees, we handle everything from planning and on-site filming through to fast-turnaround editing and asset delivery. Get in touch and we will talk through what you need.
